Oman

Oman are an ICC Associate Member, governed by Oman Cricket, which was formed in 1979. Oman became an ICC Affiliate Member in 2000 and were elevated to Associate status in 2014. They played their first T20I on 25 July 2015 against Afghanistan at the Clontarf Cricket Club Ground in Dublin, and their first ODI on 27 April 2019 against Namibia at the Wanderers Cricket Ground in Windhoek.

As an Associate nation, Oman have yet to win an ICC title, but they have built a steady record of qualification for the global stage. They reached the ICC Men's T20 World Cup in 2016, 2021, 2024, and 2026, with their best results coming at the group stage. Co-hosting duties in 2021, when Al Amerat staged first round matches, marked a high point for the sport in the Sultanate.

Oman play their home internationals at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground, located in Muscat. The ground earned full ICC accreditation in 2021 to host Test, ODI, and T20I fixtures, making it the country's primary venue for international cricket.

Oman are captained by Jatinder Singh, the experienced opener who leads the side across ODIs and T20Is.
