United States

The United States are an Associate Member of the ICC, holding ODI status since 1965, and are governed by USA Cricket, the national body officially recognised by the ICC in January 2019. The USA played their first One Day International on 10 September 2004 against New Zealand at The Oval in London, and their first Twenty20 International on 15 March 2019 against the United Arab Emirates at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai.

The United States have yet to win an ICC title, but the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup marked a breakthrough. Co-hosting the tournament alongside the West Indies, the USA reached the Super 8 stage on their tournament debut, advancing from a group that included Pakistan, and they qualified automatically for the 2026 edition.

Home internationals are staged at Central Broward Park in Lauderhill, Florida, at Grand Prairie Stadium near Dallas, Texas, and at the Prairie View Cricket Complex outside Houston, Texas.

Wicketkeeper batter Monank Patel captains the United States across both white ball formats. He was appointed T20I captain in October 2021 and led the side through the 2024 World Cup, and he was named to lead the squad again for the 2026 T20 World Cup.
