World Rowing Cup III
World Rowing Cup III, the final leg of the 2026 series, takes place at the Rotsee in Lucerne, Switzerland (26-28 June 2026). The Rotsee is widely considered the finest natural rowing lake in the world: 2,000 metres of dead-calm water sheltered by forested hills on both sides. The venue has hosted more World Cups than any other course.
Lucerne serves as the de facto dress rehearsal for the World Championships. Nations typically lock their final crew selections after this regatta. The grandstand atmosphere at the Rotsee, with Swiss cowbells echoing off the hillsides, is unlike any other venue in the sport. Racing begins at 09:30 CEST, with A-finals from 14:30 CEST (13:30 BST in London, 08:30 EDT in New York).
