Alpine Endurance Team

Alpine entered the Hypercar era with the A424, an LMDh prototype built in partnership with Oreca, the French chassis constructor with decades of experience in top-level endurance racing. The A424 represents Alpine's most ambitious motorsport programme in a generation, a full factory Hypercar campaign backed by the Renault Group. The car made its competitive debut in 2024 and has been progressively developed through each season, with the updated 2026 specification carrying revised aerodynamics as part of the evo programme.

The 2026 season marks Alpine's final year in the FIA World Endurance Championship. According to reports, the team will withdraw from the series at the end of the season, making this a farewell campaign for the French manufacturer at the highest level of endurance racing. That context gives every race in 2026 added significance, with the team targeting a strong final statement before closing out the Hypercar chapter. The A424's maiden victory, achieved in 2025, gave the programme its first major result and demonstrated the car's genuine competitive potential.

For the farewell season, Alpine Endurance Team fields two A424s. The number 35 is driven by Charles Milesi, Ferdinand Habsburg, and Antonio Felix da Costa, three drivers who have been central to the programme's development. The number 36 pairs Jules Gounon and Frederic Makowiecki with Victor Martins, forming an all-French trio in one of the two entries. Both Milesi and Habsburg were part of the team from the early days of the Hypercar adventure.

The programme has drawn on Renault Group engineering resources alongside Oreca's manufacturing expertise. A strong result at Le Mans 2026 would be a fitting send-off for a team that committed fully to the top class of endurance racing.
