Cadillac Racing

Cadillac Racing competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship in partnership with British outfit JOTA Sport, operating under the combined name Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA. The collaboration began in 2025 and immediately delivered results, with the team scoring Cadillac's maiden WEC victory in their debut season. The partnership blends JOTA's deep endurance racing expertise, built across multiple championships over many years, with Cadillac's factory engineering support and the proven V-Series.R LMDh machine.

The Cadillac V-Series.R is an LMDh car, built on a Dallara chassis and powered by a Cadillac-developed 5.5-litre DOHC V8 engine. The LMDh formula allows manufacturers to share a common chassis architecture while developing their own powertrains, enabling Cadillac to run an equivalent car across both WEC and IMSA simultaneously. The shared platform creates a unified development loop, with data and learnings from endurance races in both series feeding back into a single technical programme.

For 2026, the team fields two V-Series.R entries. The number 12 continues with Louis Deletraz, Norman Nato, and Will Stevens, a trio that scored points in every race of the 2025 season and placed fifth in the overall championship. The number 38 sees Jack Aitken join Earl Bamber and Sebastien Bourdais, with Aitken stepping in to fill the seat vacated by Jenson Button. Aitken brings IMSA GTP endurance championship experience to the WEC programme, rounding out a roster built on continuity and proven racecraft.

The V-Series.R is also eligible to run in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship as a GTP car, reflecting the cross-Atlantic ambition of General Motors' endurance racing strategy. For Cadillac, WEC success carries significant brand value in global markets, and the team arrived at the 2026 season confident in the car's pace and the strength of its driver roster on both sides of the Atlantic.
