A.J. Ewart

A.J. Ewart is a professional golfer from Coquitlam, British Columbia, competing on the PGA Tour in 2026 as a rookie. Born May 7, 1999, Ewart grew up immersed in golf through his father Brad, who held Class A Assistant Golf Coach status with the Professional Golfers' Association of Canada, worked as an instructor and golf television host, and played across 32 countries over a career spanning more than three decades. Ewart holds a world ranking of approximately 212 in the Official World Golf Ranking as of mid-2026.

Ewart played four seasons of NCAA Division II golf at Barry University in Florida from 2019 to 2023, accumulating 14 collegiate wins and earning the 2022 Jack Nicklaus Award as the top player in Division II. He also reached the runner-up position at the 2021 Canadian Men's Amateur Championship. After turning professional in 2023, he built his record on developmental circuits before going to Q-School, where he won outright at the Final Stage, earning one of five PGA Tour cards on offer.

In his 2026 PGA Tour rookie season Ewart has demonstrated consistent ball-striking and a standout short game. His strokes gained putting ranks among the top 20 on tour, which has helped him make the cut in the majority of his starts. He recorded a tied-11th finish at the Valspar Championship and a tied-13th at the Cognizant Classic, where he carded a second-round 64.
