Adam Hadwin is a Canadian professional golfer born on November 2, 1987, in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. He grew up in Abbotsford, British Columbia, where he learned the game at Ledgeview Golf Club alongside fellow Canadian standout Nick Taylor. After earning a golf scholarship to the University of Louisville, he turned professional in 2009 and spent several years working his way through the Canadian Tour and the Korn Ferry Tour before reaching the PGA Tour.
Hadwin's career highlight came in early 2017 in back-to-back weeks. At the CareerBuilder Challenge in January, he fired a third-round 59 at La Quinta Country Club. He finished second that week, then went on to win the Valspar Championship in March 2017, earning his first and, to date, only PGA Tour title. That year he also earned a spot on the International Team for the 2017 Presidents Cup, and he represented Canada again at the 2019 Presidents Cup at Royal Melbourne. His best result at a major came at the 2022 U.S. Open, where he finished tied for seventh.
Hadwin is a precise ball-striker who generates steady ball-striking statistics rather than length off the tee. His 2025 PGA Tour season was his most difficult, resulting in the loss of his full tour card. He opened 2026 on the Korn Ferry Tour and showed immediate resilience, finishing solo second at The Panama Championship in February 2026 -- his best result in a tournament since 2023.
