Adam Svensson (born December 31, 1993) is a Canadian professional golfer from Surrey, British Columbia, who competes on the PGA Tour. He turned professional in 2015 and has built his career through a methodical progression from the Canadian Tour and Korn Ferry Tour to the top level of professional golf. His breakthrough PGA Tour win came at the 2022 RSM Classic, which stands as his most notable result at tour level.
Svensson played collegiate golf at Barry University in Florida, where he won nine times across his career, claimed two NCAA Division II First-Team All-American honours, and was part of the team that won the NCAA Division II Championships in both 2013 and 2014. He also helped Canada earn a silver medal at the 2014 Eisenhower Trophy. After turning professional, he won three events on the SwingThought Tour in 2015 before progressing to the Web.com Tour (now Korn Ferry Tour), where he captured The Bahamas Great Abaco Classic in January 2018 to earn his first PGA Tour card. After losing and regaining his card, he added two more Korn Ferry wins in 2021 -- the Club Car Championship in March and the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship -- to return to the PGA Tour on firm footing.
Svensson secured his one PGA Tour title at the 2022 RSM Classic at Sea Island, Georgia, finishing at 19-under par and closing with a six-under 64 to win by two strokes over Brian Harman, Callum Tarren and Sahith Theegala. He has an accurate approach game that suits shorter, precision-oriented layouts, and his performance at Sea Island was built on sharp putting down the stretch. He has made cuts at both the PGA Championship and the U.S. Open in recent years.
