Amanda Doherty is an American professional golfer from Atlanta, Georgia, born on September 16, 1997. She competes on the LPGA Tour, having earned full membership for the 2022 season after her 2021 Epson Tour campaign. She attended Florida State University, graduating in 2020 with a degree in sport management while playing collegiate golf for the Seminoles women's team.
Doherty turned professional in 2020 and spent her first two seasons on the Epson Tour. Her 2021 campaign stood out as a breakthrough year: she competed in 19 events, made 15 cuts, recorded eight top-10 finishes, and was runner-up at the IOA Golf Classic. That performance earned her the Gaelle Truet Rookie of the Year Award for the Epson Tour and secured her LPGA card heading into 2022. On the LPGA Tour she has posted a best finish of tied for eighth, achieved twice, including at the 2022 ISPS Handa World Invitational where she carried a one-stroke lead after 54 holes before the final round.
She remains without a tour victory.
