Ana Belac was born on January 28, 1997, in Kranj, Slovenia. She plays on the LPGA Tour, which she joined in 2021, becoming the first Slovenian golfer to compete at that level. Her path to the tour ran through Duke University, where she was a two-time All-ACC selection and earned co-medalist honours at the 2017 Landfall Tradition and the 2019 East Lake Cup.

Belac turned professional in spring 2020 after the pandemic cut short her senior season at Duke. She made an immediate impact on the Symetra Tour, winning the Carolina Golf Classic in October 2020 by four strokes and claiming the Volvik Race For the Card title to secure her LPGA Tour card. At the end of that season she was named both Symetra Tour Rookie of the Year and Symetra Tour Player of the Year. Before turning pro she had also represented Slovenia at the 2018 Mediterranean Games, where she was part of the bronze-medal women's team, and played for the International Team at the 2019 Arnold Palmer Cup.

On the LPGA Tour, Belac has continued to develop against the strongest field in women's professional golf. Her best major result to date is a tie for 69th at the 2025 Women's PGA Championship. She has also competed in the U.S. Women's Open and the AIG Women's British Open, building experience across the women's majors calendar.
