Andrew Putnam is an American professional golfer from Tacoma, Washington, who competes on the PGA Tour. Born on January 25, 1989, Putnam has established himself among the game's consistent tour professionals through a steady climb from the developmental tours and a breakthrough victory that confirmed his status as a PGA Tour winner.

Putnam played collegiate golf at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, where he was a three-time All-American and won two tournaments before turning professional in 2011. His early pro years were spent grinding through the Web.com Tour, where he claimed his first professional win at the WNB Golf Classic in 2014. After losing his PGA Tour card and returning to the developmental circuit, he won the Panama Claro Championship in 2017 to regain his spot on Tour. That persistence paid off in August 2018 when he claimed his first PGA Tour title at the Barracuda Championship outside Reno, Nevada, defeating Chad Campbell by four points under the modified Stableford format. The win pushed his world ranking toward a career-best of 43rd, which he achieved in August 2019.

Putnam is a controlled ball-striker who ranks comfortably mid-tier on the Tour in strokes gained across most categories. He competed in the PGA Championship at Aronimink in May 2026, finishing in a tie for 55th. His older brother Michael has also competed at the PGA Tour level, making the Putnams one of the few sibling pairs to share time on Tour.
