Bianca Pagdanganan

Bianca Isabel Pagdanganan was born on October 28, 1997, in Quezon City, Philippines, and grew up following her father to weekend golf sessions before developing into one of the most powerful drivers on the LPGA Tour. She turned professional in January 2020 after earning her LPGA Tour card through the Q-Series in November 2019. Her standout moment as a professional came at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she finished joint fourth at Le Golf National with a 6-under par total of 282, the best result ever recorded by a Filipino golfer in Olympic golf history. That finish placed her alongside world-ranked players including Amy Yang, Hannah Green, and Miyu Yamashita, one shot outside the bronze-medal position.

Before turning professional, Pagdanganan built a strong amateur record across two universities. She began at Gonzaga University and transferred to the University of Arizona, where she was part of the 2018 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championship team. She also represented the Philippines at the 2018 Asian Games, earning a bronze medal in the individual event and a gold medal in the team event alongside Yuka Saso and Lois Kaye Go, then followed that with two gold medals at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games. On the LPGA Tour, she recorded a top-10 finish at the 2020 KPMG Women's PGA Championship in her rookie season.

Pagdanganan is recognised across the tour primarily for her driving distance. Teammates at Arizona nicknamed her "The Unicorn" for that power, which has repeatedly allowed her to attack par-fives that other players cannot reach in regulation.
