Brandt Snedeker is an American professional golfer from Nashville, Tennessee, born December 8, 1980. He plays on the PGA Tour. A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Snedeker turned professional in 2004 and built his reputation as one of the steadiest players of his generation, reaching a career-high of No. 4 in the world in February 2013. His best major finishes are tied third at the 2008 The Masters and tied third at the 2012 The Open Championship.

Snedeker earned PGA Tour Rookie of the Year honors in 2007 after winning the Wyndham Championship in his debut season. He went on to accumulate ten PGA Tour titles, including the 2012 FedEx Cup, which he secured with a victory at the Tour Championship and a $10 million prize. His record at Pebble Beach was exceptional, winning the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am in both 2013 and 2015. He represented the United States at the 2012 and 2016 Ryder Cup and the 2013 Presidents Cup, and received the 2024 Payne Stewart Award for character and sportsmanship. In 2026 he was named non-playing captain of the U.S. side at the Presidents Cup at Medinah.

Snedeker is known for a compact, repeatable swing and one of the fastest pre-shot routines on tour. In May 2026, at 45 years old, he won the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic at 18-under par, edging Mark Hubbard by a stroke. The victory earned him a place in the PGA Championship at Aronimink.
