Brian Patrick Campbell is an American professional golfer from Irvine, California, who competes full-time on the PGA Tour. Born on March 6, 1993, in Newport Beach, he rose through the collegiate ranks at the University of Illinois. He entered the professional spotlight as an amateur by finishing tied for 27th and earning low-amateur honors at the 2015 U.S. Open before turning professional that same year.

Campbell's path to sustained PGA Tour status was far from straightforward. After earning his Tour card for the first time in 2017, he lost it and spent the better part of seven years dealing with injuries and grinding on the Korn Ferry Tour. That persistence paid off when he returned to the PGA Tour for the 2024-25 season and produced a breakthrough year. In February 2025 he won the Mexico Open at VidantaWorld, defeating Aldrich Potgieter in a sudden-death playoff, then backed it up with a second title at the John Deere Classic in July 2025, edging Emiliano Grillo on the first playoff hole. His 2-0 playoff record and a career-high world ranking of 55 marked him as one of the circuit's genuine emerging talents that season.

Campbell carried that momentum into the 2026 major season. He posted a tied-for-24th finish at The Masters at Augusta National and appeared in the field at the PGA Championship at Aronimink. His 2026 results have been uneven overall, reflecting the adjustment many breakthrough players face in a second full season, but his short-game reliability and proven ability to close in pressure situations remain genuine strengths at age 33.
