Celine Boutier

Céline Boutier was born on November 10, 1993, in Clamart, a suburb south-west of Paris. She competes primarily on the LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour and has been ranked inside the top 20 of the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings throughout recent seasons. Her headline achievement came at the 2023 Amundi Evian Championship, where she became the first French player to win the only women's major contested on French soil, posting four rounds in the 60s and winning by six strokes.

Boutier spent four years at Duke University, where she earned a psychology degree and helped the Blue Devils win the 2014 NCAA Championship. She reached World No. 1 in the amateur rankings in late 2014, also winning the 2012 European Ladies Amateur Championship and the 2015 British Ladies Amateur before turning professional in 2016. She earned her LPGA Tour card through the Symetra Tour in 2017, picking up two wins on that circuit the same year. Her first LPGA Tour title followed in 2019 at the ISPS Handa Vic Open in Australia. She added the ShopRite LPGA Classic in 2021 and then enjoyed her most productive stretch in 2023, winning the LPGA Drive On Championship, the Evian Championship, and the Women's Scottish Open in the space of a few months. She has also been a consistent presence in Solheim Cup squads, representing Europe in 2019, 2021, 2023, and 2024.

Boutier is known for composure under pressure, a quality evident in her playoff victories and her ability to hold a six-shot lead at Evian without faltering. Her technique has been developed under swing coach Cameron McCormick, and she pairs a reliable ball-striking game with a short game capable of producing low-scoring rounds on any surface. She remains one of the most consistent performers in the women's game and a regular contender in LPGA Tour and LET events each season.
