David Lipsky is an American professional golfer born July 14, 1988, in Los Angeles, California, who grew up in La Canada Flintridge. He competes primarily on the PGA Tour. His most prominent international result was winning the Omega European Masters in 2014, a DP World Tour event co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour, which also secured him the 2014 Asian Tour Order of Merit.

Lipsky turned professional in 2011 after a standout college career at Northwestern University, where he was an All-American and won the 2010 Big Ten individual championship. He found early success on the Asian Tour, claiming the Handa Faldo Cambodian Classic in just his third start in 2012. His 2014 Omega European Masters victory came via playoff at Crans-sur-Sierre in Switzerland. A second win followed at the Alfred Dunhill Championship in December 2018 at Leopard Creek Country Club in South Africa. He later secured a Korn Ferry Tour title at the TPC San Antonio Challenge in 2020, which moved him into PGA Tour eligibility.

A consistent shot-maker rather than a long hitter, Lipsky has built his game around accuracy and course management. In 2024 he finished runner-up at the Procore Championship on the PGA Tour, his best PGA Tour result at that point, which secured his card for 2025. He appeared in the 2026 PGA Championship at Aronimink in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, missing the cut after rounds of 74-72. That was his fourth PGA Championship start, following appearances in 2019, 2020, and 2021.
