Harry Philip Bowden Hall was born on 6 August 1997 in Camborne, Cornwall, and is one of the few English players currently competing full-time on the PGA Tour. He studied at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from 2015 to 2019, which took him from southwest England to the American college golf circuit. He has competed in multiple major championships, with a tied-19th finish at the 2025 PGA Championship his best result to date.

Hall turned professional in 2019 and spent three seasons developing his game on the Korn Ferry Tour, winning twice: at the 2021 Wichita Open and the 2022 NV5 Invitational. Those victories earned him a PGA Tour card for the 2022-23 season. He broke through at the top level in July 2024, winning the ISCO Championship via a five-way playoff for his first PGA Tour title. The win also counted on the DP World Tour, which he is co-sanctioned on. During his amateur years he represented Great Britain and Ireland at the 2019 Walker Cup and played for Team Europe at the 2017 Arnold Palmer Cup and for the International team at the 2018 Arnold Palmer Cup.

Hall's game is built around an exceptional short game and one of the better putting strokes on tour. He made the cut at the 2025 The Open Championship, finishing tied 28th at Royal Portrush, a result that underlined how his wedge and putter play translates well to links conditions.
