Kevin Roy is a professional golfer from Syracuse, New York, competing on the PGA Tour. Born on March 15, 1990, he grew up in a golfing family: his father Jim Roy competed on both the PGA Tour and PGA Tour Champions. Roy attended Long Beach State University, where he overlapped for one season with Xander Schauffele, turning professional in 2012. As of May 2026 he holds a world ranking of 125th.

Roy's path to the PGA Tour was anything but straightforward. After years on satellite circuits, he worked his way through the Korn Ferry Tour and in August 2022 secured his PGA Tour card by finishing on the Korn Ferry Tour points list at the Pinnacle Bank Championship in Nebraska. After losing his card following his debut PGA Tour season, he earned it back a second time with a tied runner-up finish at the 2024 Albertsons Boise Open, securing his card for the 2025 season.

Roy's statistical profile in 2026 points to a player who earns strokes with his putter, ranking 27th on the PGA Tour in Strokes Gained: Putting through twelve events, with four top-25 finishes and nine cuts made. His off-the-tee game is solid without being elite, ranking in the upper half of the tour in driving distance. Roy has not qualified for any of the four men's majors.
