Melanie Green is an American professional golfer from Medina, New York, born December 19, 2001. She is competing on the LPGA Tour in her first full professional season in 2026, having earned her card by finishing first in the Epson Tour's Race for the Card standings.

Green first gained widespread attention in 2024 when she won The Women's Amateur Championship, becoming the first American to claim the title since 1996. At the time she was competing for the University of South Florida. Her amateur resume also included selection to the United States Curtis Cup team. She turned professional in November 2024 and immediately showed she was ready for the next level: in her first season on the Epson Tour she won the Island Resort Championship in June 2025 and the Guardian Championship in September 2025, earning Epson Tour Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors.

In her 2026 LPGA Tour rookie campaign Green has shown the form that marked her amateur career. She contested the 2026 Chevron Championship, one of the five women's majors, as part of her debut season on tour.
