Nelly Korda is an American golfer born on July 28, 1998 in Bradenton, Florida, currently ranked world No. 1 with 18 LPGA Tour victories and three major championships: the 2021 Women's PGA Championship, the 2024 Chevron Championship, and the 2026 Chevron Championship.

Korda's 2024 season was one of the most dominant in modern women's golf. She won five consecutive LPGA Tour events, becoming only the third player in LPGA history to achieve the feat after Nancy Lopez and Annika Sorenstam. She finished the year as LPGA Tour Player of the Year and Rolex Annika Major Award winner, and held the world No. 1 ranking for over 70 consecutive weeks before briefly ceding it to Atthaya Thitikul in August 2025.

The 2026 Chevron Championship at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston restored Korda to world No. 1. She led wire-to-wire, winning by five strokes with a tournament score of -18. It was her third major title and 18th LPGA Tour victory.

Korda won Olympic gold at the Tokyo 2020 Games (held in 2021) at Kasumigaseki Country Club, finishing at -17 to beat Mone Inami of Japan by one stroke. She became the first American woman to win individual Olympic golf gold since 1900.

Sport runs deep in the Korda family. Her father Petr Korda won the 1998 Australian Open tennis singles title. Her mother Regina Rajchrtova was a professional tennis player. Her sister Jessica Korda plays on the LPGA Tour, and her brother Sebastian Korda is a professional tennis player who won the 2018 Australian Open boys' singles championship.

In 2026, Korda competes at all four men's-equivalent majors spectator events while anchoring the LPGA calendar. Fans in Florida can follow her home events, while international viewers can check Tokyo time or London time for LPGA broadcast conversions.
