Robert Streb

Robert Streb is an American professional golfer from Chickasha, Oklahoma, who has been a PGA Tour member since 2013. He attended Kansas State University before turning professional in 2009. Now based in Shawnee, Kansas, Streb has competed across both the PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour over the course of his career.

Streb claimed his first PGA Tour win at the 2014 McGladrey Classic at Sea Island, Georgia, prevailing in a playoff. Six years later he returned to the same event, by then renamed the RSM Classic, and won again in a playoff over Kevin Kisner in November 2020, making him the first player since Daniel Berger to record his first two Tour victories at the same event. His best result in a major came at the PGA Championship in 2016 at Baltusrol, where a second-round 63 matched the lowest score ever shot in a major at that time and briefly put him atop the leaderboard alongside eventual champion Jimmy Walker. He finished tied for seventh.

One of the most distinctive features of Streb's game is his ten-finger grip, a hold rarely seen among PGA Tour professionals. His peak OWGR ranking of 31, reached in September 2015, reflected a stretch of consistent ball-striking and scoring that put him among the more reliable mid-tier Tour players of that era.
