Ruoning Yin, known on tour by her nickname Ronni, is a professional golfer from Kunming, Yunnan province, China. Born on 28 September 2002, she plays full-time on the LPGA Tour and held the world number one ranking in September 2023. She is the second Chinese golfer in history to win a women's major championship.

Yin began learning golf at the age of ten and developed quickly through the Chinese amateur system. In 2019 she won nine amateur events including the China National Amateur Championship, and at sixteen she represented China at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, earning a bronze medal in the women's team event. She turned professional in 2020 at the age of seventeen and immediately won three consecutive events on the China LPGA Tour, a feat recognised by Guinness World Records. She earned full LPGA Tour status through the 2021 Q-Series and made her LPGA debut in 2022. Her first LPGA victory came at the 2023 DIO Implant LA Open, and three months later she captured the 2023 KPMG Women's PGA Championship at Baltusrol Golf Club in New Jersey, closing with a birdie on the final hole to win by one stroke.

She maintained a scoring average of 69.95 across 2023 and had three LPGA wins in 2024, taking the Dow Championship, the Buick LPGA Shanghai, and the Maybank Championship. She maintained a top world ranking entering 2026 and finished tied for second at the 2026 Chevron Championship, the first women's major of the year.
