Zach Bauchou is an American golfer from Forest, Virginia, born on December 28, 1995. He plays on the PGA Tour as a first-year card holder in 2026, having qualified through the Korn Ferry Tour developmental circuit. Ranked 159th in the Official World Golf Ranking as of mid-2026, Bauchou represents the kind of grinder who reaches the top tier of professional golf through persistence rather than a fast-tracked rise.

Bauchou grew up playing at London Downs Golf Club and went on to play at Oklahoma State University from 2015 to 2019. At Oklahoma State he was part of the 2018 NCAA Championship-winning team, earned back-to-back Canadian Amateur titles in 2017 and 2018, and received All-America Second Team recognition. He turned professional in 2019 and spent several years working his way through the Korn Ferry Tour. The defining moment of his career came in September 2025 when he won the Simmons Bank Open, finishing 23 under par and setting the tournament's 72-hole scoring record. The victory secured his place in the Korn Ferry Tour playoffs and ultimately clinched his first PGA Tour card.

His 2026 PGA Tour debut has been solid for a rookie. Through 13 starts he has made 11 cuts, posted a T6 finish at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson in May, and earned just under $940,000 in prize money. He competed in the 2025 U.S. Open at Oakmont. The 2026 U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills represents a genuine opportunity for him to continue building major championship experience in his debut PGA Tour season.
