Casey Jarvis is a South African professional golfer born on 28 July 2003 in Boksburg, South Africa. He competes primarily on the DP World Tour and the Sunshine Tour, and at 22 years old has reached a career-high ranking of 69th on the Official World Golf Ranking, achieved in March 2026. His rapid ascent from amateur prodigy to DP World Tour winner has made him one of the most talked-about young players to emerge from southern Africa in recent years.

Jarvis was an exceptional amateur before turning professional. He won both the South African Stroke Play Championship and the South African Amateur Championship in 2020, and then the African Amateur Stroke Play Championship in back-to-back years in 2021 and 2022. He also won the 2019 Junior Golf World Cup as part of the South African national team. After turning professional in 2022, he won Sunshine Tour Rookie of the Year and made headlines in 2023 when he carded a round of 59 at the Stella Artois Players Championship, becoming the second youngest player ever to shoot that score. Later that year he won the Euram Bank Open on the Challenge Tour, which led to his full DP World Tour card for 2024.

His 2026 season announced him as a genuine contender at the highest level. In February he won the Magical Kenya Open by three shots for his maiden DP World Tour title, then one week later claimed the Investec South African Open Championship by three shots to seal consecutive victories on tour. Those back-to-back wins earned him an invitation to The Masters at Augusta National. He is also qualified to compete at The Open Championship at Royal Birkdale in July.

His game is built on low scoring and composure under pressure. He has shown an ability to produce eagle birdies to close out tournaments and to recover well when rounds become difficult. Sunshine Tour and DP World Tour observers have noted his calm temperament for a player still in his early twenties, a quality that served him in the closing stages of both his 2026 wins.
