Nick Dunlap is a 22-year-old American professional golfer from Huntsville, Alabama who competes full-time on the PGA Tour. He turned professional in early 2024 and holds two career PGA Tour victories. Dunlap is eligible to compete in all four men's majors -- The Masters at Augusta National, the PGA Championship at Aronimink, the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills, and The Open Championship at Royal Birkdale -- though entry into each depends on qualifying and exemption categories for that season.

Dunlap came up through Alabama junior golf and rapidly built one of the most decorated amateur records of his generation. In 2021 he won the U.S. Junior Amateur, becoming the first Alabama native to claim the title. Two years later he won the U.S. Amateur in 2023, making him only the second golfer in history to hold both titles -- the other being Tiger Woods. Still enrolled at the University of Alabama, he entered The American Express on the PGA Tour in January 2024 as an amateur and won outright, shooting a 12-under 60 in the third round to tie the PGA Tour record for lowest round by an amateur. That made him the first amateur winner on the PGA Tour in 33 years. He announced his professional debut the following week, then added a second win at the Barracuda Championship in July 2024 -- becoming the only player in PGA Tour history to win in the same season as both an amateur and a professional. He received the 2024 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year award.

Dunlap's primary challenge has been driving accuracy and distance control off the tee; by late 2025 he ranked last on tour in strokes gained off-the-tee. The 2025 season was difficult overall.
