Daniel Juncadella

Daniel Juncadella is a Spanish racing driver who competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Genesis Magma Racing, sharing the #19 Genesis GMR-001 with Paul-Loup Chatin and Mathieu Jaminet. One of the most accomplished GT drivers of his generation, he won the 2012 European Formula 3 championship before building a career in sportscar racing with Mercedes-AMG.

Juncadella's GT record includes victory at the 24 Hours of Spa, the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup title, and class wins in both IMSA and the WEC. He also won the Macau Grand Prix in 2011. In 2025, racing in the European Le Mans Series in LMP2 with IDEC Sport, he claimed three class wins in preparation for his 2026 Hypercar debut.

The move to Genesis marks Juncadella's first sustained campaign in the Hypercar class. He adapted rapidly to the GMR-001, and his combination of GT title-winning experience and targeted LMP2 preparation made him a natural fit for a programme that debuted at the 2026 Imola season opener in one of the most competitive Hypercar grids in WEC history.
