Dries Vanthoor is a Belgian racing driver born in 1998 in Heusden-Zolder who competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship for BMW M Team WRT, sharing the #15 BMW M Hybrid V8 with Raffaele Marciello and Kevin Magnussen. He is the younger brother of Porsche factory driver Laurens Vanthoor.

A former Audi factory driver, Vanthoor won the 2018 Bathurst 12 Hours and 2019 24 Hours of Nurburgring, and claimed three consecutive GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup titles from 2020 to 2022 alongside Charles Weerts. He joined BMW for the Hypercar programme and also competes in IMSA alongside his full WEC season.

Vanthoor and van der Linde operate as BMW's dual WEC and IMSA programme drivers, giving the German manufacturer continuity across both championships. His established GT pedigree, particularly in sprint-format events, has translated effectively into the sustained pace requirements of Hypercar racing.
