Earl Bamber

Earl Bamber is a New Zealand racing driver who shares the #38 Cadillac V-Series.R for Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA in the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship alongside Sébastien Bourdais and Jack Aitken. Bamber has won the 24 Hours of Le Mans twice: in 2015 with Hülkenberg and Tandy, and in 2017 with Bernhard and Hartley. The 2017 season with Porsche also brought him the FIA World Endurance Championship title.

After his Porsche factory career, Bamber moved into team ownership and continued as a driver in the American sportscar scene before rejoining the WEC with Cadillac. The #38 Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA program placed him back at the Le Mans 24 Hours in a competitive Hypercar, and the crew secured three front row qualifying results and a podium finish together during the 2025 season.

In 2026, Bamber and Bourdais continue their partnership with Aitken as the third driver from Spa onwards. Cadillac enters Le Mans with multiple entries and significant factory support, and Bamber's experience of winning the race twice makes him one of the most strategically valuable drivers in the Cadillac lineup for the 24-hour race at the Circuit de la Sarthe.
