Marco Sorensen is a Danish racing driver born on 6 September 1990 who competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship for the Heart of Racing Aston Martin THOR Team, sharing the #009 Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR-LMH with Alex Riberas and endurance driver Roman de Angelis. An Aston Martin factory driver since 2015, he and fellow Dane Nicki Thiim formed a partnership known informally as the "Dane Train" during their GT years together.
Sorensen won the FIA WEC LMGTE Pro class world title twice, in 2016 and in the 2019-20 season, and added the LMGTE Am class crown in 2022. He began his single-seater career through the Renault and Lotus F1 junior teams before switching to GT racing with Aston Martin, where he has remained for over a decade.
His transition to the Hypercar class began in 2025. In the 2026 pre-season Prologue at Imola, Sorensen suffered a heavy crash caused by tyre warm-up issues, though he was cleared of injury. He returned to competition and the team continued development of the Valkyrie AMR-LMH ahead of Le Mans.
