Nick Cassidy is a New Zealand racing driver born in Auckland in 1994 who makes his full Hypercar debut in the FIA World Endurance Championship with Team Peugeot TotalEnergies, sharing the #93 Peugeot 9X8 with Paul di Resta and Stoffel Vandoorne. He joins the programme after establishing himself as one of the leading figures in single-seater and Japanese motorsport.
Cassidy won the 2017 Japanese Super GT championship with Lexus and TOM'S alongside Ryo Hirakawa, and completed what is known as the Japanese motorsport triple crown by adding the Super Formula title in 2019. He then moved to Formula E, finishing as championship runner-up twice in three seasons, before Peugeot secured his services for 2026. He also raced for Mahindra in the 2025-26 Formula E season, winning the Monaco E-Prix in May 2026.
The WEC seat marks Cassidy's full entry into prototype racing at the highest level, having made six WEC starts in the GTE AM class in 2022 with Ferrari. He set the second-quickest time at the 2025 WEC Rookie Test in Bahrain.
