Paul-Loup Chatin is a French racing driver born on 19 October 1991 in Dourdan who competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Genesis Magma Racing, sharing the #19 Genesis GMR-001 with Daniel Juncadella and Mathieu Jaminet. He joined the new Genesis programme for 2026 after two seasons in the Hypercar class with Alpine, where he was part of the crew that won the 2025 6 Hours of Fuji.

Chatin has an extensive LMP2 background, winning the European Le Mans Series in 2014 and 2019, the LMP2 class at the 2021 24 Hours of Daytona, and the 2023 IMSA SportsCar Championship in LMP2. He took pole positions at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in both 2018 and 2023. His switch to Alpine's Hypercar programme in 2024 gave him his first sustained exposure to Hypercar-level machinery.

His experience with the ORECA-based platform, which underpins the Genesis GMR-001, was a key factor in his recruitment to Genesis Magma Racing. The #19 car completed Genesis's first WEC race at Imola in 2026, a significant milestone for both team and driver.
