Phil Hanson

Phil Hanson is a British racing driver born in 1999 who competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Ferrari AF Corse, sharing the #83 Ferrari 499P with Robert Kubica and Yifei Ye. In January 2026 he was elevated to official Ferrari factory driver status, capping a rapid rise through sports car racing.

Hanson spent several years with United Autosports, winning back-to-back Asian Le Mans Series championships, the 2020 European Le Mans Series title, and multiple class honours at Le Mans. At the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans, the #83 crew of Hanson, Kubica, and Ye won the race outright, the most significant result of his career to date.

The #83 lineup is retained intact for 2026. Hanson brings the accumulated endurance race management skills of his United Autosports years to a full factory programme, cementing his position among the leading generation of British sportscar drivers.
