Robert Kubica

Robert Kubica is a Polish racing driver who competes in the #83 Ferrari 499P for AF Corse in the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship, sharing the car with Phil Hanson and Yifei Ye. He is the only Polish driver to have won a Formula One Grand Prix, taking victory at the 2008 Canadian Grand Prix for BMW Sauber before a serious rally crash in 2011 interrupted his career. He returned to F1 with Williams in 2019 before moving into endurance racing.

After a title-winning LMP2 campaign with WRT in 2023, Kubica stepped up to the Hypercar class with AF Corse Ferrari in 2024. At the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans, the #83 crew delivered the race's standout story, claiming the overall victory. The result made Kubica one of only a small group of drivers who have won both in Formula One and at Le Mans.

The unchanged #83 lineup enters 2026 as one of the most closely watched Hypercar crews. Having finished second in the 2025 Hypercar Drivers' Championship, Kubica, Hanson and Ye return with the experience and pace to challenge for the outright title. A second Le Mans win and the championship itself are both within reach for a crew that proved it could beat the works teams.
